Handle less complex insurance policy renewals, endorsements and cancellations
Prepare new business for input into our systems
Apply Intact’s standard terms and pricing on less complex commercial lines business
Retrieve information relevant to the underwriting function either by pulling files or checking policy history and financial strength through appropriate channels
Review select underwriting reports and establish required action based on authority level
Answer straightforward inquiries from brokers promptly and courteously
Assists Underwriters with administration for large complex policies.
One (1) year work experience in insurance and college degree preferred, or equivalent combination of work experience and education
Working towards the Charted Insurance Professional (CIP) designation
Strong typing skills to process daily work
Highly organized to manage workflow efficiently without continuous supervision.
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
